قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّانُ بْنُ تَمَّامٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ الْيَمَا
مِيِّ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فِي غَزَاةِ هَوَازِنَ فَنَفَّلَنِي جَارِيَةً فَاسْتَوْهَبَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَعَثَ بِهَا إِلَى مَكَّةَ فَفَدَى بِهَا أُنَاسًا مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

English Translation
Qurrān ibn Tammām narrated to us, from ʿIkrimah al-Yamāmī, from Iyās ibn Salamah, from his father, who said: I went out with Abū Bakr on the expedition against Hawāzin, and he gave me a captive girl as spoils. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ asked for her, and I gave her to him. He sent her to Makkah and ransomed some Muslims with her.
