‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ‏ ‏وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ‏ ‏قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏شَيْبَانُ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏يَحْيَى ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ ‏ ‏جَعْفَرَ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيَّ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ ‏ ‏أَبَاهُ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ ‏ ‏رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ‏

English Translation

Ḥasan ibn Mūsā and Ḥusayn ibn Muḥammad narrated to us, they said: Shaybān narrated to us, from Yaḥyā, from Abū Salamah, that Jaʿfar ibn ʿAmr ibn Umayyah al-Ḍamrī informed him that his father informed him that he saw the Prophet ﷺ wiping over his leather socks.
