English Translation
Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd narrated to us, from Mālik ibn Anas, he said: Rabīʿah narrated to me, from Ḥanẓalah ibn Qays, from Rāfiʿ ibn Khadīj, he said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited renting farmland. I said: 'With gold and silver?' He said: 'No, he only prohibited it with a portion of what comes out of it. As for gold and silver, there is no harm in that.'
