حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَائِذٍ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ قَالَ انْطَلَقَ عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى لِيُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ فَاتَّبَعَهُ نَاسٌ فَقَالَ مَا جَاءَ بِ
كُمْ قَالُوا صُحْبَتُكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحْبَبْنَا أَنْ نَسِيرَ مَعَكَ وَنُسَلِّمَ عَلَيْكَ قَالَ انْزِلُوا فَصَلُّوا فَنَزَلُوا فَصَلَّى وَصَلَّوْا مَعَهُ فَقَالَ حِينَ سَلَّمَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَلْقَى اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَتَنَدَّ بِدَمٍ حَرَامٍ إِلَّا دَخَلَ مِنْ أَيِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ شَاءَ

English Translation
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿĀʾidh, a man from the people of al-Shām, narrated: ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir al-Juhanī set out for Masjid al-Aqṣā to pray in it, and some people followed him. He said: "What brought you?" They said: "Your companionship with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — we wanted to travel with you and greet you." He said: "Dismount and pray." So they dismounted and he prayed, and they prayed with him. When he finished, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "There is no servant who meets Allah عز وجل without associating anything with Him, and without having stained himself with unlawful blood, except that he enters through whichever gate of Paradise he wishes."
