English Translation

ʿUqbah ibn ʿĀmir al-Juhanī narrated: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us one day while we were in the Ṣuffah and said: "Which of you would like to go out every morning to Buṭḥān or al-ʿAqīq and bring two large-humped, fine she-camels, taking them without sin or severing ties of kinship?" We said: "All of us would love that, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "For one of you to go to the mosque and learn two verses from the Book of Allah is better for him than two she-camels. And three are better than three, and four are better than four, and their equivalent number of camels."
