حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَالثَّوْرِيُّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِر
َاشٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو الْبَدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسُ مِنْ كَلَامِ النُّبُوَّةِ الْأُولَى إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحْيِ فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ

English Translation
Rawḥ narrated to us saying: Shuʿbah and al-Thawrī narrated to us, they said: Manṣūr narrated to us, from Ribʿī ibn Ḥirāsh, who said: I heard Abū Masʿūd ʿUqbah ibn ʿAmr al-Badrī say: the Prophet ﷺ of Allāh ﷺ said: "Among what people have retained from the words of the earliest prophethood is: 'If you have no shame, then do as you wish.'"
