حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حُبْشِيِّ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ سَأَلَ مِنْ غَيْ
رِ فَقْرٍ فَكَأَنَّمَا يَأْكُلُ الْجَمْرَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حُبْشِيِّ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ سَأَلَ مِنْ غَيْرِ فَقْرٍ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

English Translation
Yaḥyā ibn Ādam and Yaḥyā ibn Abī Bukayr narrated to us, they said: Isrāʾīl narrated to us, from Abū Isḥāq, from Ḥubshī ibn Junādah, who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever asks people for money without being in need, it is as if he eats burning embers." Abū Aḥmad al-Zubayrī narrated to us, Isrāʾīl narrated to us, from Abū Isḥāq, from Ḥubshī ibn Junādah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever asks without being in need" — and he mentioned the same.
