حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَيَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً وَكِيعٌ وَقَال

َ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ بَيَانٍ وَجَابِرٍ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ وَهْبِ بْنِ خَنْبَشٍ الطَّائِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عُمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حَجَّةً

English Translation

ʿAbdullāh narrated to us, my father and Yaḥyā ibn Maʿīn both narrated to us saying: Wakīʿ narrated to us, Sufyān narrated to us — and he once said: Wakīʿ said, and Sufyān said — from Bayān and Jābir, from al-Shaʿbī, from Wahb ibn Khanbash al-Ṭāʾī who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'ʿUmrah in Ramaḍān is equal to a ḥajj.'
