حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ فَاتِكِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ أَيْمَنَ
بْنِ خُرَيْمٍ قَالَ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطِيبًا فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عَدَلَتْ شَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ إِشْرَاكًا بِاللَّهِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَرَأَ { فَاجْتَنِبُوا الرِّجْسَ مِنْ الْأَوْثَانِ وَاجْتَنِبُوا قَوْلَ الزُّورِ }

English Translation
Marwān ibn Muʿāwiyah al-Fazārī narrated to us, Sufyān ibn Ziyād informed us, from Fātik ibn Faḍālah, from Ayman ibn Khuraym who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up to deliver a sermon and said, 'O people, false testimony is equivalent to associating partners with Allah' — three times. Then he recited: {So avoid the abomination of idols and avoid false speech} [al-Ḥajj 22:30].
