حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَدَّمَتْ إِل
َيْهِ جَدَّتِي تَمْرًا يُقَلِّلُهُ وَطَبَخَتْ لَهُ وَسَقَيْنَاهُمْ فَنَفِدَ الْقَدَحُ فَجِئْتُ بِقَدَحٍ آخَرَ وَكُنْتُ أَنَا الْخَادِمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْطِ الْقَدَحَ الَّذِي انْتَهَى إِلَيْهِ

English Translation
Ḥammād ibn Khālid narrated to us, from Muʿāwiyah ibn Ṣāliḥ, from the son of ʿAbdullāh ibn Busr, from his father who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us, and my grandmother brought him some dates, which he ate sparingly. She cooked for him and we gave them drink. When the cup ran out, I brought another cup — and I was the servant. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Give the cup to the one it reached.'
