حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ وَسَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَ
لَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ الدَّمَ وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى قَالَ وَكَانَ ابْنُ سِيرِينَ يَقُولُ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ إِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَى حَلْقَ الرَّأْسِ فَلَا أَدْرِي مَا هُوَ

English Translation
Salmān ibn ʿĀmir رضي الله عنه narrated from the Prophet ﷺ: "With the boy is his ʿaqīqah. So shed blood on his behalf and remove the harm from him." And Ibn Sīrīn used to say: "If 'removing the harm' is not shaving the head, then I do not know what it is."
