حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بَحِيرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَمِيرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنْ الن
َّاسِ نَفْسُ مُسْلِمٍ يَقْبِضُهَا اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ تُحِبُّ أَنْ تَعُودَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنَّ لَهَا الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا غَيْرُ الشَّهِيدِ و قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَمِيرَةَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَأَنْ أُقْتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ يَكُونَ لِي الْمَدَرُ وَالْوَبَرُ

English Translation
Ibn Abī ʿAmīrah رضي الله عنه narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There is no Muslim soul that Allah عز وجل takes except that it loves to return to you, even if it had the entire world and all that is in it — except the martyr." And Ibn Abī ʿAmīrah said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "To be killed in the cause of Allah is more beloved to me than to have all the settled and nomadic peoples."
