أَلَا وَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ يُنَحْ عَلَيْهِ يُعَذَّبْ بِمَا يُنَاحُ بِهِ عَلَيْهِ
English Translation
al-Mughīrah ibn Shuʿbah رضي الله عنه said on the minbar: Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever is wailed over shall be punished for what is wailed over him.'
