حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ صُرَدٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي
إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ قَالَ يَحْيَى يَعْنِي يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ الْآنَ نَغْزُوهُمْ وَلَا يَغْزُونَا

English Translation
Yaḥyā narrated to us, from Sufyān, who said: Abū Isḥāq narrated to me, he said: I heard Sulaymān ibn Ṣurad رضي الله عنه saying — and ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to us, from Sufyān, from Abū Isḥāq, from Sulaymān ibn Ṣurad who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the day of al-Aḥzāb — Yaḥyā said: meaning the day of al-Khandaq (the Trench): 'Now we raid them and they do not raid us.'
