حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ قَالَ سَم
ِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ يَخْطُبُ وَعَلَيْهِ خَمِيصَةٌ لَهُ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ أَنْذَرْتُكُمْ النَّارَ فَلَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا مَوْضِعَ كَذَا وَكَذَا سَمِعَ صَوْتَهُ

English Translation
Sulaymān ibn Dāwūd narrated to us, Shuʿbah informed us, from Simāk, who said: I heard al-Nuʿmān رضي الله عنه giving a sermon wearing a khamīṣah of his. He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ giving a sermon, saying: I have warned you of the Fire.' If a man were at such-and-such a distance, he would hear his voice.
