English Translation

Wakīʿ narrated to us: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from ʿAdī ibn Thābit, from al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib, who said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ recite in ʿIshāʾ — or in one of the two ʿIshāʾ prayers — "By the fig and the olive" [al-Tīn], and I never heard anyone with a more beautiful voice or recitation than his.
