حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَا

لَ أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ يَخْطُبُ حَدَّثَنَا الْبَرَاءُ وَكَانَ غَيْرَ كَذُوبٍ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا صَلَّوْا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ قَامُوا قِيَامًا حَتَّى يَرَوْهُ قَدْ سَجَدَ فَيَسْجُدُوا

English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated to us, from Misʿar, from ʿAdī ibn Thābit, from al-Barāʾ, who said: We used to pray behind the Prophet ﷺ, and when he said: "samiʿa Allāhu li-man ḥamidah" — no one among us would bend his back until the Prophet ﷺ had placed his forehead on the ground.
