Abū Nuʿaym narrated to us: Abū Ḥayyān al-Taymī narrated to us, from Abū Zurʿah, from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه who said: the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Indeed, the supplication, and the tasbīḥ, and the taḥmīd — they wind around the Throne, having a buzzing like the buzzing of bees, reminding of their companion. Does not one of you love that something continues to remind of him — or: that he have someone continuing to remind of him?'
