حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَن أَبِي إِ
سْحَاقَ عَن الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ وَادَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ عَلَى ثَلَاثٍ مَنْ أَتَاهُمْ مِنْ عِنْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَنْ يَرُدُّوهُ وَمَنْ أَتَى إِلَيْنَا مِنْهُمْ رَدُّوهُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَعَلَى أَنْ يَجِيءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ الْعَامِ الْمُقْبِلِ وَأَصْحَابُهُ فَيَدْخُلُونَ مَكَّةَ مُعْتَمِرِينَ فَلَا يُقِيمُونَ إِلَّا ثَلَاثًا وَلَا يُدْخِلُونَ إِلَّا جَلَبَ السِّلَاحِ السَّيْفِ وَالْقَوْسِ وَنَحْوِهِ

English Translation
Muʾammal narrated from Sufyān, from Abū Isḥāq, from al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib, who said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made a truce with the polytheists on the day of al-Ḥudaybiyah on three conditions: whoever came to them from the Prophet ﷺ, they would not return him; and whoever came to us from them, we would return him to them; and that the Prophet ﷺ and his companions would come the following year and enter Makkah performing ʿUmrah, staying no more than three days, and they would not bring in any weapons except sheathed swords, bows, and the like.'
