English Translation

Yazīd narrated to us: Shuʿbah informed us, from Abū Bishr, from Bashīr ibn Thābit, from Ḥabīb ibn Sālim, from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه who said: I am the most knowledgeable of people — or among the most knowledgeable — of the time the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the ʿIshāʾ prayer: he used to pray it when the moon would set on the third — or fourth — night of the month.
