حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَالْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَنَزَةٌ يَمُرُّ مِنْ وَرَائِهَا الْحِمَارُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ
English Translation
Wahb ibn Jarīr narrated from Shuʿbah, from ʿAwn ibn Abī Juḥayfah, from his father, that he witnessed the Prophet ﷺ pray the Ẓuhr at al-Baṭḥāʾ two rakʿahs and the ʿAṣr two rakʿahs, with a short spear (ʿanazah) before him, and donkeys and women would pass behind it.
