حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أ

َبِي جُحَيْفَةَ وَهْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السُّوَائِيِّ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى بِالْأَبْطَحِ الْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَدَّمَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَنَزَةً بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ مَارَّةِ الطَّرِيقِ وَرَأَيْتُ الشَّيْبَ بِعَنْفَقَتِهِ أَسْفَلَ مِنْ شَفَتِهِ السُّفْلَى

English Translation

Ismāʿīl ibn ʿUmar narrated from Yūnus, from Abū Isḥāq, from Abū Juḥayfah Wahb ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Suwāʾī, who said: 'I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray at al-Abṭaḥ the ʿAṣr — two rakʿahs. Then he set a short spear (ʿanazah) before him between himself and the road. And I saw grey hair on his chin (ʿanfaqah), below his lower lip.'
