حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَحُمَيْدٍ عَنِ

الْحَسَنِ عَنْ جُنْدُبٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ صَلَّى صَلَاةَ الْفَجْرِ فَهُوَ فِي ذِمَّةِ اللَّهِ فَلَا تُخْفِرُوا ذِمَّةَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلَا يَطْلُبَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ ذِمَّتِهِ

English Translation

Aswad ibn ʿĀmir narrated from Ḥammād ibn Salamah, from ʿAlī ibn Zayd and Ḥumayd, from al-Ḥasan, from Jundub, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever prays the Fajr prayer is under the protection (dhimmah) of Allah. So do not violate Allah's protection' عز وجل, 'and let Him not seek from you anything of His protection.'
