Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جُنْدُبَ بْنَ سُفْيَانَ يَقُولُ شَهِدْتُ
مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعِيدَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ثُمَّ خَطَبَ فَقَالَ مَنْ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ نُصَلِّيَ فَلْيُعِدْ أُضْحِيَّتَهُ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَذْبَحْ فَلْيَذْبَحْ عَلَى اسْمِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ

English Translation
Yazīd narrated from Shuʿbah, from al-Aswad ibn Qays, who said: I heard Jundub ibn Sufyān say: 'I witnessed the Eid on the day of Naḥr [10th Dhū al-Ḥijjah] with the Prophet ﷺ. Then he gave a sermon and said: "Whoever slaughtered before we prayed, let him repeat his sacrifice. And whoever did not slaughter, let him slaughter in the name of Allah عز وجل."'
