حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ حُجْرِ بْنِ عَنْبَسٍ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ { وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ } فَقَالَ آمِينَ يَمُدُّ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ وَقَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَخَفَضَ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ

English Translation
Wakīʿ narrated to us, Sufyān narrated to us, from Salamah ibn Kuhayl, from Ḥujr ibn ʿAnbas, from Wāʾil ibn Ḥujr who said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ recite {nor those who have gone astray} [1:7], then say 'Āmīn,' elongating his voice with it. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to us and said — Shuʿbah said: 'and he lowered his voice with it.'
