حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ حَاجِبِ بْنِ الْمُفَضَّلِ بْنِ الْمُ
هَلَّبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ يَخْطُبُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ أَبْنَائِكُمْ اعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ أَبْنَائِكُمْ

English Translation
Sulaymān ibn Ḥarb narrated to us: Ḥammād ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ḥājib ibn al-Mufaḍḍal ibn al-Muhallab, from his father, who said: I heard al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه delivering a sermon. He said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Treat your children equally. Treat your children equally.'
