English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar and Ḥajjāj narrated to us — they said: Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Simāk ibn Ḥarb who said: I heard al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr رضي الله عنه say: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to straighten the row until he made it like a spear or an arrow. He saw a man whose chest was protruding, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'O servants of Allah, you shall straighten your rows or Allah will cause discord among your faces.'
