English Translation
Zayd ibn Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a Jewish man cast a spell on the Prophet ﷺ. He fell ill from it for several days. Then Jibrīl عليه السلام came to him and said: 'Indeed, a Jewish man has cast a spell on you — he tied knots for you in such-and-such a well. So send someone to retrieve them.' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent ʿAlī رضي الله تعالى عنه, who extracted them and brought them. He untied them, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up as if he had been released from shackles. He did not mention anything of that to the Jewish man, nor did he ever see it on his face.
