حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ

Body (Matn)

كَتَبَ إِلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ زَمَنَ الْحَرَّةِ يُعَزِّيهِ فِيمَنْ قُتِلَ مِنْ وَلَدِهِ وَقَوْمِهِ وَقَالَ أُبَشِّرُكَ بِبُشْرَى مِنْ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَلِأَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَلِأَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَاغْفِرْ لِنِسَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَلِنِسَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ وَلِنِسَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ أَبْنَاءِ الْأَنْصَارِ

English Translation

Zayd ibn Arqam narrated that he wrote to Anas ibn Mālik during the time of al-Ḥarrah, consoling him, and he said: 'I give you glad tidings of a glad tiding from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that I heard him say: "O Allah, forgive the Anṣār, and the sons of the Anṣār, and the sons of the sons of the Anṣār, and the wives of the Anṣār."'
