Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ لَقِيتُ زَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ وَهُوَ دَاخِلٌ عَلَى الْمُخْتَارِ أَوْ خَارِ
جٌ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَسَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنِّي تَارِكٌ فِيكُمْ الثَّقَلَيْنِ قَالَ نَعَمْ

English Translation
Zayd ibn Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed, I am leaving among you that which, if you hold firmly to it, you will never go astray after me. One of them is greater than the other: the Book of Allah, a rope stretched from the heaven to the earth, and my progeny, my Ahl al-Bayt. They will never separate until they return to me at the Pool, so watch how you treat them after me.'
