English Translation
ʿAdī ibn Ḥātim narrated: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If you release your dog and mention the name of Allah, and it mixes with other dogs and they catch it together, do not eat, for you do not know which of them caught it. If you shoot and mention the name of Allah, and the arrow pierces, then eat. But if it does not pierce, do not eat. Do not eat from the miʿrāḍ except what you slaughter, and do not eat from the sling-stone (bunduqah) except what you slaughter.'
