حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ الْبَجَلِيِّ عَنْ صَخْرٍ الْغَامِدِ
يِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا قَالَ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً بَعَثَهَا أَوَّلَ النَّهَارِ وَكَانَ صَخْرٌ رَجُلًا تَاجِرًا فَكَانَ لَا يَبْعَثُ غِلْمَانَهُ إِلَّا مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ فَكَثُرَ مَالُهُ حَتَّى لَا يَدْرِيَ أَيْنَ يَضَعُ مَالَهُ

English Translation
Ṣakhr al-Ghāmidī narrated from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'O Allah, bless my ummah in its early mornings.' the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, whenever he sent out a military expedition, would send it out at the beginning of the day. Ṣakhr was a merchant, and he would only send his workers out at the beginning of the day, and his wealth grew until he did not know where to put his money.
