حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى أَنَّهُ كَانَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَى بَطْنِهِ الْحَسَنُ أَوْ الْحُسَيْنُ شَكَّ زُهَيْرٌ قَالَ فَبَالَ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ بَوْلَهُ عَلَى بَطْنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَس
َلَّمَ أَسَارِيعَ قَالَ فَوَثَبْنَا إِلَيْهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاة وَالسَّلَامُ دَعُوا ابْنِي أَوْ لَا تُفْزِعُوا ابْنِي قَالَ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَصَبَّهُ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ فَأَخَذَ تَمْرَةً مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ قَالَ فَأَدْخَلَهَا فِي فِيهِ قَالَ فَانْتَزَعَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مِنْ فِيهِ

English Translation
Aswad ibn ʿĀmir narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿĪsā, from ʿĪsā ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī Laylā, from Abū Laylā رضي الله عنه, that he was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and on his belly was al-Ḥasan or al-Ḥusayn — Zuhayr was uncertain. He urinated until I saw his urine flowing in streaks on the belly of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. We leapt toward him, but he عليه الصلاة والسلام said, 'Leave my son be — or: do not frighten my son.' Then he called for water and poured it over the spot. Then the boy took a date from the charity dates and put it in his mouth. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pulled it out of his mouth.
