حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَب
ِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ الشَّرِيدِ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا شَرِبَ الرَّجُلُ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ أَرْبَعَ مِرَارٍ أَوْ خَمْسَ مِرَارٍ ثُمَّ إِذَا شَرِبَ فَاقْتُلُوهُ

English Translation
Yaʿqūb narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Isḥāq, he said: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī ʿĀṣim ibn ʿUrwah ibn Masʿūd al-Thaqafī narrated to me, that ʿAmr ibn al-Sharīd narrated to him, that his father narrated to him that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'If a man drinks [wine], flog him. Then if he drinks again, flog him — four or five times. Then if he drinks again, kill him.'
