حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ رَفَعَ

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرِيرًا بِيَمِينِهِ وَذَهَبًا بِشِمَالِهِ فَقَالَ أُحِلَّ لِإِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي وَحُرِّمَ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا

English Translation

ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, ʿAbd Allāh ibn Saʿīd ibn Abī Hind informed us, from his father, from a man, from Abū Mūsā, who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ held up silk in his right hand and gold in his left hand and said: 'These are permitted for the females of my ummah and forbidden for its males.'
