حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ غَالِبٍ التَّمَّارِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مَسْرُوقَ بْنَ أَوْسٍ أَوْ أَوْسَ بْنَ مَسْرُوقٍ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي يَرْبُوعٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا
مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْأَصَابِعُ سَوَاءٌ فَقُلْتُ لِغَالِبٍ عَشْرٌ عَشْرٌ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ

English Translation
Hāshim ibn al-Qāsim narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Ghālib al-Tammār, who said: I heard Masrūq ibn Aws — or Aws ibn Masrūq — a man from Banū Yarbūʿ, narrating that he heard Abū Mūsā al-Ashʿarī narrating from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'The fingers are all equal.' I said to Ghālib: 'Ten each?' He said: 'Yes.'
