حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَ

لْحَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لِيَسْتَأْذِنْ أَحَدُكُمْ ثَلَاثًا فَإِنْ أُذِنَ لَهُ وَإِلَّا فَلْيَرْجِعْ

English Translation
Abū Nuʿaym narrated to us, Ṭalḥah ibn Yaḥyā ibn Ṭalḥah narrated to us, from Abū Burdah, from Abū Mūsā, who said: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: 'Let one of you seek permission three times. If he is given permission [let him enter], otherwise let him turn back.'
