English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Ghālib al-Tammār, who said: I heard Aws ibn Masrūq, a man from among us who used to receive two dirhams during the time of ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb رضي الله تعالى عنه and who fought in his caliphate, narrating from Abū Mūsā, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: 'The fingers are all equal.' Shuʿbah said: I asked: 'Ten each?' He said: 'Yes.'
