Yazīd narrated to us, al-ʿAwwām ibn Ḥawshab informed us, Ibrāhīm ibn Ismāʿīl al-Saksakī narrated to us, that he heard Abū Burdah ibn Abī Mūsā — and he and Yazīd ibn Abī Kabshah were traveling companions, and Yazīd used to fast — Abū Burdah said to him: I heard Abū Mūsā say many times: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When a servant falls ill or travels, he is credited with the same reward as what he used to do while he was resident and healthy.'
