Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ حَدَّثَنَا هِلَالُ بْن
ُ يَسَافٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَجِيءُ قَوْمٌ يَتَسَمَّنُونَ يُحِبُّونَ السِّمَنَ يُعْطُونَ الشَّهَادَةَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلُوهَا
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Wakī‘ narrated to us: al-A‘mash narrated to us: Hilāl ibn Yasāf narrated to us, from ‘Imrān ibn Husayn, who said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: The best of people are my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then there shall come people who seek to be fat and love fatness, who give testimony before they are asked for it.
