Ismā‘īl narrated to us, from al-Jurayrī, from Abū al-‘Alā’ ibn al-Shikhkhīr, from Mutarrif, from ‘Imrān ibn Husayn, who said: It was said: O Messenger of Allāh, so-and-so never breaks his fast during the day, ever. He said: He has neither broken his fast nor truly fasted.
