English Translation
Yahyā ibn Sa‘īd narrated to us, from Husayn al-Mu‘allim: Abdullāh ibn Buraydah narrated to us, from ‘Imrān ibn Husayn, that he asked the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ about the prayer of a man while sitting. He said: Whoever prays standing, that is better. The prayer of a man sitting is half the reward of his prayer standing. And the prayer of a man lying down is half the reward of his prayer sitting.
