حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ لَا يَكْتَوُونَ وَلَا يَسْتَرْقُونَ وَلَا يَتَطَيَّرُونَ وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ قَالَ فَقَامَ عُ
كَّاشَةُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ادْعُ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ فَقَالَ أَنْتَ مِنْهُمْ قَالَ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ قَالَ قَدْ سَبَقَكَ بِهَا عُكَّاشَةُ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yazīd narrated to us, Hishām informed us, from al-Ḥasan, from ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Seventy thousand of my ummah will enter Paradise without reckoning. They do not seek cauterization, nor do they seek ruqyah, nor do they believe in omens, and upon their Lord they place their trust.” He said: Then ʿUkkāshah stood and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, ask Allah — Blessed and Exalted — to make me one of them.’ He said: ‘You are one of them.’ He said: Then another man stood and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, ask Allah to make me one of them.’ He said: ‘ʿUkkāshah has preceded you in it.’
