English Translation
Muʿādh ibn Hishām narrated to us, my father narrated to me, from Qatādah, from Abū Naḍrah, from ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn, that a slave of poor people cut off the ear of a slave of wealthy people. His owners came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: ‘O Prophet of Allah, we are poor people.’ He did not impose any penalty on him.
