حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَد
َّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي لَيْثٍ يَقُولُ أَشْهَدُ عَلَى عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْحَنَاتِمِ وَعَنْ خَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ

English Translation
ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, my father narrated to me, Rawḥ narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, Abū al-Tayyāḥ narrated to us, who said: I heard a man from Banū Layth say: ‘I testify that ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade ḥantam (branding/tattooing on the face).’
