حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ الْأَعْرَابِيَّ قَالَ رَأ
َيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي وَعَلَيْهِ نَعْلَانِ مِنْ بَقَرٍ قَالَ فَتَفَلَ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ ثُمَّ حَكَّ حَيْثُ تَفَلَ بِنَعْلِهِ

English Translation
Hāshim and Bahz narrated to us, both saying: Sulaymān ibn al-Mughīrah narrated to us, from Ḥumayd, who said: One who had heard a Bedouin narrated to me, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ while he was praying, wearing sandals made of cowhide. He spat to his left, then rubbed [the spit] with his sandal where he had spat.
