حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَشَكَّ فِيه
ِ فِي كِتَابِ الْبُيُوعِ فَقَالَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ أَوْ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَمَنْ بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

English Translation
Muḥammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Sa‘īd narrated to us, from Qatādah, from al-Ḥasan, from Samurah, from the Prophet ﷺ — and he had doubt in the Book of Sales, saying: from ‘Uqbah or Samurah — that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Whichever woman is married off by two guardians, she belongs to the first of them. And whoever sells a sale to two men, it belongs to the first of them.”
