حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَن سِمَاكٍ قَالَ سَمِ
عْتُ الْمُهَلَّبَ بْنَ أَبِي صُفْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ سَمُرَةُ بْنُ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُصَلُّوا حِينَ تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ فَإِنَّهَا تَطْلُعُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيْ شَيْطَانٍ وَلَا حِينَ تَغِيبُ فَإِنَّهَا تَغِيبُ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيْ شَيْطَانٍ

English Translation
Hajjāj narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Simāk, he said: I heard al-Muhallab ibn Abī Ṣufrah say: Samurah ibn Jundub said, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: ‘Do not pray at the time when the sun rises, for it rises between the two horns of a devil (shayṭān); and do not (pray) when it sets, for it sets between the two horns of a devil.’
