Hadith #79
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَن سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُر
ْدَةَ عَن أَبِيهِ عَن جَدِّهِ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أُمَّتِي أُمَّةٌ مَرْحُومَةٌ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ إِلَّا عَذَابُهَا فِي الدُّنْيَا الْقَتْلُ وَالْبَلَاءُ وَالزَّلَازِلُ

English Translation
Yazīd narrated to us, he said: al-Masʿūdī informed us, from Saʿīd ibn Abī Burdah, from his father, from his grandfather Abū Mūsā who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Indeed this ummah of mine is a shown-mercy ummah. It will have no punishment in the Hereafter; its punishment in this world is killing, earthquakes, and tribulations.’
