‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَفَّانُ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَنَا ‏ ‏زِيَادٌ الْأَعْلَمُ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏الْحَسَنِ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏دَخَلَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ ‏ ‏فَأَوْمَأَ ‏ ‏إِلَى أَصْحَابِهِ أَيْ مَكَانَكُمْ فَذَهَبَ وَجَاءَ وَرَأْسُهُ يَقْطُرُ فَصَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ ‏

English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Bakra (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ started for the Fajr prayer and gestured to his companions to stay in their places. He went and came back with his head dripping, then led the people in prayer.
